SOLIDARITY ARCHITECTS GROUP, is a non-profit association, with the main purposes of cooperation and development aid in the field of architecture.
The development projects are located: Tanzania with the Merc Project; Accra (Ghana) with a social housing project; Prototype study of accommodation in Bambylor (Senegal) and urban proposal for the coastal strip of Asunción (Paraguay) The fundamental activities are:
1.-INVESTIGATE DEVELOPING HABITATS
Expand knowledge of developing habitats and societies under construction, where it is necessary to create urban and architectural strategies for the development of a dignified future.
2.-PROJECT NECESSARY SPACES
Design cities, neighborhoods, buildings and all those spaces necessary for the vital development of vulnerable communities in places without resources.
3.- LOCAL DEVELOP TECHNOLOGIES
Develop local technologies with the aim of promoting the constructive identity of different peoples and climates.
4.- BUILDING WITH RESPECT FOR NATURE
Building with respect for nature and the different geographical environments, preserving the balance between urban and natural, and helping to build using passive architectures and indigenous materials.
